Intermania: Meet the team!

Arne

Hi Intermaatjes! My name is Arne, the current Praeses of the Intermania, the best and only association magazine of Intermate. You might know me as the Commissioner of Education of the previous board, where I was coincidentally board-responsible of this beautiful cantus cult committee. Now I am continuing my studies with a double master in HTI and DS&AI, because more education == more better. I hope to make some amazing booklets together with the committee, and write some nice articles myself as well, this year.

Morris

Heeeeeeeiii! Morris here! Well, I hope you guys know me by now, as I have been in the Intermania for waaay too long. Two years ago, I was the chair of this beautiful committee and for some reason, I feel like everything is being ‘aangesjaakt’ to me. Oh, and if you don’t know me from the Intermania (which would be very weird), I am also doing a Board year now (very small thing, not many people know about it). Apart from being somewhat responsible for this committee this year, I have faith we will still create the everlasting laughter, memes, and creative things that you have gotten to know us for. 

Quincy

Haaaaiii Partypeople! My name is Quincy (aka kwinkie, kwoenkie, kwonkie, kwonkert, kwak, Q, kwinsjie, kwonk) and I am the promotional responsible for this amazing team. I joined the Intermania at a time when few were willing to step up, but I was always enthusiastic to get the job done! I will always bring new creative ideas to the table and am willing to go the extra mile to come up with a new story, amazing design, or spicy roddel. I have already been studying for many many many many years to gather wisdom that I can put into more creative ideas for the Intermania. Here’s to many more Intermania years to come! 

Timo

Hi guys, it’s me, Timo, an Intermania veteran. I joined long, long ago in Intermania year 28 meeting 4 of Q4 to be precise, at least, if I would have been present that meeting (I was not). I am the professional ‘puntjes aannaaier’ of the Intermania, which I do in collaboration with Maarten sometimes. I was also treasurer of Intermate last year and finished my book year with minimal (detected) tax fraud, so now I am helping Femke do the same :). You might also know me from the Intermate podcast ‘Intertalks’, where you could hear my beautiful voice as a co-host sometimes. Even though I ‘sjaakte myself erbij’ every time to edit until deep in the night, only to complain about being tired to my roommates the day after, I just couldn't get enough of these podcasts. So, stay tuned for some more Intermania podcast shenanigans in the near future!

Maarten

Hello, I am Maarten. I am the big chef of the board, and I recently retired from being big chef intermania. I am still recovering from this loss in status, and I am still deciding whether or not I think that Arne is doing a good job. My role at intermania is starring in the videos and ensuring that there are new memes able to be made from my face. Another important role of mine is being concerned by things said by the Intermanisjaarzen during meetings. I do think that regardless of if my successor does a good job as chef intermania, we will make an amazing book. 

Fasja

Hi everyone, my name is Fasja! I'm a second year SI student and an Intermanisjaars. I'm half Dutch half American, that is why in the rare occasion I do decide to speak Dutch I'll always sprinkle in some English. You might know me from the SjaarsCie or the IntroCie, where they joked that I'm illiterate. But I swear it is a joke! I can read guys! And write! Otherwise, me joining the Intermania would have been a bit awkward... Anyhow I'm really excited to dive into our upcoming theme with you guys, so stay tuned j’allemaal!

Donna, aka the Don, aka Big D.

One of the newer additions to the wonderful committee of the Intermania is Donna Verhaart, who joined us right before the summer break. Donna is of course most widely known for her role as lead singer in the amazing band D’alto. So much so that I'm pretty sure the D in the bands’ name stands for Donna. Now in the Intermania she is sure to bring the same degree of creativity to the amazing articles that will come out in the future! As of right now though she has not been trained yet by Arne as to what is actually going on. But once Arne gets to that Donna will be the new powerhouse of the committee writing articles and making nice videos for the association, and the World!
