ITEM is the alumni network for those that received a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Innovation, Psychology & Technology (both formerly known as Innovation Sciences) or a master’s degree in Innovation Sciences and Human Technology Interaction.
The name ITEM, or ‘Ingenieurs Techniek en Maatschappij’ (Engineers Technology and Society) refers to the course ‘Technology and Society’, where the above courses originated from.
As an ever-growing network of former course mates, ITEM brings them together in various sorts of events. In the past, we organised seminars, workshops and excursions and recurring drinks. At our events, we exchange information and experiences about the fields we work in, or work itself. Obviously, ITEM is also a place where we can talk to the ones we haven’t seen in a while.
Moreover, ITEM aims to link students and alumni. Are you looking for internships, vacancies or general career advice? We are always open to receiving questions or suggestions from students that like to know more about ITEM or our members’ fields of work. Do not hesitate to contact us by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org!
