As we are not able to organize our famous weekend trip this year, we have come up with a fun online alternative: the first-ever SExCie SkillsDay. It will take place on the fifth of March, and is completely free of charge! On this day, we will organize three fun and interesting workshops for you to follow:
1. 10:00 – 11:30: LinkedIn Professionals
2. 12:00 – 13:30: Self-Assessment
3. 14:00 – 15:30: Circular Economy
You can participate in as many workshops as you want! You can find more information about the different workshops below.
If you want to be part of this special SExCie event, please subscribe on the Intermate site. Clearly indicate which workshops you want to follow in the comments. You can follow one, two, or all three.
1. LinkedIn Professionals
Your LinkedIn profile is for most of us the first contact with a company. How do you open such a conversation, who do you message and what should your profile look like to reflect what you are looking for? If you are also curious, join our workshop about LinkedIn. In this interactive workshop, we will teach you everything there is to know about LinkedIn and more. So are you ready to develop your professional network?
Become more aware of your own strengths and personal interests so you can orientate yourself more efficient on jobs that will match your qualities. Knowing yourself better will also increase your performance during a network conversation or job interview. During this training, you will obtain a better insight in your qualities. Get to know your core qualities personality-wise and find out where your interests lie. Discover what you have to offer where it is your competencies concerned and what you can still improve as a professional. With the use of the STAR method, you will learn how to illustrate your competencies and personality traits based on previous experiences. During a job interview questions about your strengths and weaknesses might be asked, so this training will help you to be prepared.
3. Circular Economy
The workshop circular economy focusses on how we can change our economy in such a way that companies use their waste and residual products to create new value. The advantage of this is that companies will earn money with their waste and less new raw materials are necessary for the manufacturing of other products, so the economy will become more sustainable. The workshop will challenge you to find new uses for a waste stream.
